Our Lady of Guadalupe is a beautiful and powerful statue. She stands on a crescent moon and clouds, with her hands folded in prayer. Her dress is a rose color with flowers and a black bow tied at her waist. The blue-green mantle has golden stars and rays are shining from behind her. She is on a black base which states "GUADALUPE" with muted gold ornate detailing. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the patron saint of Mexico and a symbol of unconditional love and protection. These unique statues are made in Colombia. Each one is individually hand-painted by talented women who are either widows, single mothers, or those who are sole providers for their families. Slight color and design variations may occur.
